Beginning her belly dance career in 1994, Rachel has become an extremely sought after performer and instructor. Rachel is one of the highest certified dancers in the world in the Salimpour™ formats. A perpetual student of movement art, this Level 5 certified dancer is a multi-award winning performer and teaches workshops and classes worldwide.

 

Based in Southern California, Rachel is San Diego’s number one premier belly dance entertainment highlight. She illustrates her incomparable musical interpretation, which is rooted in a great understanding of Middle Eastern cultural history and dance movement, through her strong technique and isolation strength.

Building Layers

 

Technique & Dance Movement for building clean visible layers. You can represent melodic & percussive music using these concepts to build your own layers in drum solos, choreography, competitions and improvisation work. Understanding Salimpour Format through its layering concepts is a great way for beginners and advanced dancers to be challenged and explore the creation of their personal style through strong technique.

REMINDER: Workshop purchase does NOT include the Entry Fee into the festival. You must purchase entry separately.
